What is Broadband Wireless Internet?
Wireless Broadband is MWN’s new wireless high-speed Internet access service. It uses Fixed Wireless technology to provide an "always-on" connection. Because MWN’s Wireless High-Speed Internet does not use your existing phone line, you can be surfing the Net and talking on the phone at the same time!

Who can get MWN’s Wireless High-Speed Internet?
Fixed Wireless technology does have some restrictions such as distance from the MWN Wireless Point-of-Presence and "line of sight" requirements.

What essentials are necessary for Wireless Broadband Internet?
You will need to have an Ethernet Network Interface Card (NIC) installed in your computer. MWN can sell and install this card onto your pc if you do not already have one. You will also need a Wireless subscriber module.  Routers are optional, but recommended for both security and sharing multiple computers and are available from MWN. The Wireless subscriber module will remain the property of MWN and the lease of this equipment is included in the monthly service fee.
